Technicians must also be able to document the work that they complete, using a mobile device to take pictures, notate fibers splices, and other work that was completed at each location. Requires a minimum of a High-School Diploma, on-the-job training, and must be familiar with structure cabling. Technicians must be familiar with Cat 5, Cat 6, and copper terminations, have a basic understanding of fiber optic cables/concepts, phone systems, and other cabling systems that might be present on the projects that we do work on.
